Rocky Mountain Revels  |   Performing Group

Founded in 2000, Rocky Mountain Revels is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to promoting public education, understanding, and appreciation of traditional music, dance, drama, and ritual through participatory theater and communal celebration. Each year, a unique blend of amateur and professional performers from the greater Boulder/Denver area come together to create The Christmas Revels. This a holiday production with historical costumes, live traditional music, and authentic dance and theater celebrates the traditions of Christmas and the rituals of the winter solstice—the shortest day of the year—when we welcome the return of the sun’s warmth and recognize the cycle of the seasons.
